Overview

NEST meetings are held on Wednesdays from 12:00-1:00 in 606 Soda Hall. We discuss issues pertaining to Wireless Sensor Networks, the TinyOS software platform, the Mote hardware platform, and many WSN-related projects.

Bringing Food to Meetings

  1. Place an order for 25 people's worth of food, with a mix of meat-based and vegetarian options. That's approximately one burrito per person, 2 slices of pizza, etc. Usually the order-taker at the food place will help you prepare an order with the right size and a good assortment of food, so you don't have to specify the whole thing exactly. Most will deliver right to Soda, but some require a walking or driving pickup. You'll probably want to call the place a day in advance to prepare them for the large order.
     
  2. Make sure to either order drinks (soda, juices, water) and plastic cups from the place itself, or pick them up down at 7 Palms convenience store on Euclid Ave. You'll probably want to get 3-4 bottles of soda and 3-4 bottles of juice, and a bottle of water.
     
  3. Willa Walker in 626 Soda will reimburse you when you give her the receipts.
